About Gold-Red Glass
Gold-red glass, also known as cranberry glass, is created by incorporating gold chloride or colloidal gold into molten glass. The resulting deep red hue cannot be replicated with ordinary pigments and remains one of the most prized glass colors due to the cost of materials and the skill required to achieve it.
